Cloves garlic confit, smashed3-4 pcs
Honey2 tbsp
Bread of choice (sourdough or milk bread preferred)2 slices
Pear, sliced½
Walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped2 tbsp
Fontina cheese
Algae cooking oil
Step 1
Make the honey garlic sauce by mixing the honey and smashed garlic confit until combined.
Step 2
Spread evenly on the inside of both slices of bread, then add cheese to both sides.
Step 3
Add your pear slices and walnuts to one side, and fold your layers together.
Step 4
Heat a thin layer of algae oil over medium heat and cook on both sides until golden and crisp, and the cheese is melty. Slice and enjoy!
