Kimchi Gochugaru Hotdogs
These aren’t your ballpark hotdogs, these are franks with a Korean twist and a spicy streak. The creamy gochugaru mayo brings the heat, the kimchi brings the funk, and the sesame seeds? Pure crunch.
Ingredients
Main
Potato buns
Hotdogs
Kimchi, chopped
Scallions, finely sliced
Sesame seeds
Kewpie mayo1/4 cup
Algae Cooking Club Gochugaru Chili Oil2 tbsp
Step 1
Start by making the gochugaru mayo by combing the kewpie mayo and algae cooking club gochugaru chili oil in a bowl, mixing until well combined. Taste and add more oil, if desired. (Alternatively, if you have a mostly empty bottle of kewpie, pour the gochugaru oil directly into the bottle, shaking to combine)
Step 2
Grill your hot dogs, lightly toasting the buns in the last few minutes on the grill.
Step 3
Top your hot dog with chopped kimchi, gochugaru mayo, sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
