Air Fryer Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Sweet, spicy, crispy, and just a little tangy—these air-fried spicy sweet potatoes are about to become your new obsession. Seriously, they’ve got that “I’ll just have one more bite” magic going on. We’re talking chili oil heat, a whisper of cayenne, a splash of lime, and a drizzle of honey to balance it all out. Basically, they’re the side dish you didn’t know you needed… until now.

Sweet Potato (½" dice cut)2 cups
Lime (juiced)1
Chili Oil Algae Cooking Oil (Gochugaru Chili Oil)2 tsp
Cayenne Pepper⅛ tsp
Honey½ tsp

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and the sweet potatoes are evenly coated.

Step 2

Place the mixture in a lined air fryer basket.

Step 3

Air fry at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4

After 10-12 minutes, shake the basket to rotate the potatoes and return them to the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until they are tender in the center.

Step 5

Once cooked, transfer to a plate or bowl. Topped with lime, sour cream, and fresh chopped cilantro.
