The Best Homemade Mayo

This silky, chef-worthy mayo blends algae oil with sharp Dijon, bright lemon, and fresh garlic for a punchy, pantry-staple upgrade that’s as delicious as it is effortless.

Ingredients

Main
Algae cooking oil1 cup
Egg1 pc
Clove garlic1 pc
Juice of lemon1/2
Dijon mustard2 tsp
Salt, to taste
Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a glass mason jar and blend with an immersion blender until smooth, thick, and combined.

Step 2

Taste and adjust salt as desired. Alternatively, do the same in a blender or food processor if needed.

Step 3

For flavored oils, swap for infused oil, or add herbs and spices before blending.
